Auckland artist Tracey Henton of Ginger Fiasco specialises in poetry and language-led design, typography, illustration, creative writing and participatory workshops.
With wedding season upon us, Ginger Fiasco is offering one lucky bride-to-be and five of her nearest and dearest the opportunity to take part in a customised, in-person poetry workshop for a truly personal hens do.
Each guest will be guided to draw on her own memories, stories and language to create a bespoke poem, which will then be designed and delivered as a fine-art print ready to frame.
Drawing on 30 years spent reading character and building story in film and television, Tracey creates work that is considered rather than decorative — made to be lived with and built to hold meaning over time.
This exclusive workshop will be held at Tracey’s Auckland home studio or an Auckland venue of the winner’s choice and is valued at $1100, including aperitifs and a glass of bubbles.
