Gabrielle and Jarrod’s beautiful wedding day was full of gorgeous styling, from the contemporary and elegant attire to the trendy metallic and botanical features throughout. Gabrielle tells us about their special day…

Our wedding summed up everything that was important to us – great company, lots of laughter, good wine, great cocktails and simplistic but contemporary design. Our venue incorporated a bit of my own rural upbringing, and it felt so special looking out at the beach we spent our first date on. One thing that stood out was the amount of laughter there was the whole way through the day. It was so special having everyone we love in the same room.

All of our decor and stationery we styled and designed ourselves through our business Papier HQ. It really did translate our vibe as a couple. We wanted something contemporary and not too over the top. Brass elements were shown throughout, from the brass candle holders to the photo frames displaying our grandparents’ wedding photos.

Alfie the caravan bar was a surprise for our guests, serving our favourite cocktails; aperol spritz, rose sangria, and peach and raspberry bellinis. We decided to go with a cheese layer cake instead of a traditional cake – we love to indulge in cheese and wine so it was very fitting!

We had the most incredible day and we wouldn't change a thing.
