Mei & Stephen
With six months to plan their big day, Mei and Stephen created a beautiful wedding that celebrated the love they have for each other, and the important people in their lives.
Mei tells us more…
After a touching church ceremony, our guests had a coffee break at one of our favourite cafés while we had photos taken. We came together at the reception venue where everyone could have a drink, play games, and eat our two favourite foods: chocolate and cheese.
As a guest book, we had everyone take selfies using a Polaroid camera and write a note for us before putting both in an envelope. We also had a Bible, in which they could highlight and sign their favourite verses. Packs for the children contained crayons, a colouring picture (of us!), stickers, a lollipop, plus a disposable camera and a list of items they had to photograph.
One of my favourite parts of the wedding was our favours – everyone received a gingerbread biscuit and personalised milk bottle. They also received a small box containing two scrolls with a Bible verse specifically chosen for them, and a hand-written note about why they mean so much to us.
We were surrounded by people who had travelled from all over the world, and they’re the ones who made the day so special.
