After a ceremony at a quaint inner-city church, Rebecca and Aaron celebrated at a beautiful summer garden reception. Rebecca tells us more…
The ceremony painted the perfect picture of Aaron and I as a couple; we were so focused on each other, and the church was bursting with love and emotion! We also had a lot of family members involved, which was extra special for us.
Because it was a summer wedding, we decided to have a Mr Whippy truck
visit after the ceremony. It was a great chance for us and our guests to mingle over ice cream, and with limited numbers at the reception, it allowed for everyone to be included in some way.
Our reception was held in a marquee at the picturesque Highwic House. We had a lot of support and help from our families in planning our day. My talented father created and painted the floral design on our invites, and sticking with our French country/garden theme, he also hand scribed the guests’ place names on brown craft paper tags. Each guest table was assigned the name of a herb, with the associated plant displayed in terracotta pots. By the end of the evening, the marquee looked magical as it glowed beneath the stars.
Our wedding day was truly blessed with love, family and friends, and it’s a day we will never forget!
