Kerri & Scott
Kerri and Scott Keelty planned a lakeside wedding in spring, filled with personal touches. Family helped to cut 300 intricate butterflies for the place cards, while centrepieces of mismatched crystal vases from second-hand shops were filled with different flowers, and guests received handmade truffles as favours. They were also given fans at the ceremony, petal cones for showering the happy couple, and later they let off flying lanterns in memory of a friend who had passed away. ‘It was a touching moment and the lanterns looked romantic flying off into the sky,’ says Kerri. While the sun set behind the lake, drinks and canapés were served, followed by dinner, a slideshow of the couple’s romance, and dancing into the night.
